About Ellis County For Kids' Sake
We are excited to kick-off a new season of Bowl For Kids’ Sake! Bowl For Kids’ Sake was the first fundraiser to help start our Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Ellis County. We are grateful to celebrate our 27th year! Through the support of the community and those who come together each year during this time, over 2,000 children have been paired with a mentor. Thank you for being a part of the positive connections happening in our community each year!
There are currently 165 children matched with a Big in Ellis County and over 30 children are waiting for their Big. The money raised from this event, through team fundraising and business sponsorships, helps to support our current matches and find Bigs for children waiting.
Bowl For Kids’ Sake brings together colleagues, friends, and families to form teams and collect donations to support our mentoring program. After funds are raised, teams come together to celebrate their success with bowling, Pizza Hut, and Pepsi!
We hope you will join us for this year’s celebration on Wednesday, May 6th, at Centennial Lanes!

2026 bfks prizes!
Set a team fundraising goal of $1,000! Each team member who fundraises $150 or more will receive a KSBBBS t-shirt and be entered for a chance to win great event prizes. If your team raises $1,000, each team member will have more chances to win!
The top fundraising business/organization will win the coveted BFKS Traveling Trophy – currently on display at High Plains Farm Credit – our 2025 top fundraisers!

Volunteer Your Time
Everyone has the life experience to be a Big.
At KSBBBS, we match local youth facing adversity ages 5+ with a 1:1 caring adult mentor who can spend a few hours a month with them as a supportive, encouraging friend.
Our meaningful one-to-one match relationships are created based on personality, interests and preferences of each Big & Little.
