About For Kids' Sake
For Kids' Sake has been an annual mentor recruitment and fundraising campaign supporting Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters serving Crawford County. It is one of the longest-running state fundraisers that provides support for our operating budget.
Team participant rewards include our premium t-shirt and other prizes to top fundraisers. Proceeds raised through For Kids Sake stay in Crawford County and go toward costs to match and professionally support one-to-one local Big and Little mentoring matches for a year.

- Enrollment of youth
- References and background checks
- Best-fit match selection to ensure longevity and success
- Ongoing professional support by the MSS (Match Support Specialist) to ensure quality and safety while setting and reaching annual goals
- Activities and events to enrich the match relationship

At KSBBBS, we match local youth facing adversity ages 5+ with a 1:1 caring adult mentor who can spend a few hours a month with them as a supportive, encouraging friend.
Our meaningful one-to-one match relationships are created based on personality, interests and preferences of each Big & Little.
